Phillip is an international education professional who has extensive experience in the management, promotion and administration of international education in the fields of ELICOS, TESOL and continuing education in Australia and overseas.  He has significant market development, international relations, and strategic marketing experience in diverse markets across Asia, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.

He works as part of the Institute’s executive management team to provide direction and leadership to ensure the successful operation and commercial profitability of ICTE and has executive strategic management responsibility for all business development, student recruitment, marketing, and communications activity.  He identifies, develops and manages the Institute’s network of over 100 institutional partners at government, university and industry levels, and the appointment and performance monitoring of 100+ student recruitment representatives across 50+ market source countries.

Phillip is involved extensively at institutional and industry levels in policy and marketing and promotion strategies including with English Australia as a member of its Profiling and Promotions Committee since 2010 and represents ICTE and UQ at domestic and international fora.  Phillip studied abroad in Japan and was the recipient of international travel scholarships by the Association of International Education Japan (now JASSO) and the Australian Government Federal Department of Education.
