Louise has taught since 2010, as an English Language Educator, University Programs Educator, and Volunteer Tutor for Migrants and Refugees. She has also worked as a freelance editor for many years. She has teaching experience in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Having completed a PhD in 2001, Louise understands the challenges faced by postgraduate students. She is particularly motivated to improve best practice in the area of academic literacies for international postgraduates in an Australian higher education context. Louise is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
