Mark joined UQ-ICTE in January 2017 after transitioning from classroom teaching to learning design. He has been a Learning Designer since 2012 having previously worked as Lead Instructional Designer for one of Australia’s largest RTO’s and Educational Designer at Griffith University. His 20-year teaching career saw him win Education Queensland’s highest award for using Learning Technology in the classroom.

Mark’s professional interests include scenario-based learning, electronic publishing, augmented reality and learner engagement. His personal interests include wildlife photography and sailing on tall ships.
