David has more than 37 years’ of experience as a teacher, senior teacher and as a team leader. In the course of his career, he has worked in a wide variety of countries including, Japan, Laos, and Australia. He has a particular interest and expertise in the fields of English for Specific Purposes, specifically Business English in which he has run a number of business projects with practical outcomes, most recently The Biggest Morning Tea Australia, raising money for the Queensland Cancer Council.

At ICTE-UQ, David has taught on a wide variety of programs including General English, English for Academic Purposes, the Bridging English Programme and English for International Business Education.

David has a keen interest in developing student motivation and its effects on class and group dynamics.
