Arizio has extensive experience in the field of TESOL, having taught and trained in Brazil, Macau, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. He is an accredited Cambridge ESOL Speaking Examiner for FCE, CAE & BEC and a trainer and assessor for the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).

In the course of his career, Arizio has taught learners of all ages and levels in a variety of teaching contexts and held representational roles in teaching organisations in Australia and overseas.

He has special interests in teacher education, pronunciation pedagogy, pragmatics, the lexical approach and the use of audio-video materials for language teaching.

Arizio is the author of Language Through Film, a frequent contributor to English language teaching journals around the world and a regular presenter at national and international conferences.
