I gained a number of new skills such as using drama, music, etc in my English classes to get students engagement and participation. ICTE-UQ has been teaching not only the skills but also how to adapt it to my own country's school.  So I can use the skills that I've learnt here as soon as I go back to our schools.

ICTE-UQ provides me with the opportunity to give more inspiring education to my students and that is the first part where my career for fulfilment comes from. This course is so practical that we can learn not only theories on teaching but practical skills such as giving instructions and classroom management.  It also has lots of activities including a visit to the North Straddie and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, in which we can be exposed to authentic English. 

No doubt that the teachers at ICTE-UQ are amazing. They have shown me what teachers should do to set a safe class for students to take a risk of making mistakes. I am impressed with their efforts to share emotions and make us open-minded for further learning.  It’s incredible for me to be challenging and creative like this at ICTE-UQ. Additionally, the diverse teachers cover a wide range of fields such as music, drama, ICT, which enables me to learn teaching methodologies from various perspectives.
