Laura Fairbrother has been a TESOL language teacher and teacher trainer at the Institute of Continuing & TESOL* Education (ICTE) at The University of Queensland since 2013.

Laura has a wide variety of English teaching experience including young learners, preteens, young adults, professionals and academics of all levels (beginner to advanced). She began teaching English in Spain in 2006 and has since taught in Italy, England, China, Japan and now Australia.

Laura enjoys delivering a range of language and training programs including CLIL, EMTP, BEP, AECS and General English. She also has a keen interest in helping teachers and learners connect more meaningfully to the learning process through class-based reflection. Laura is an advocate for teacher professional development and mentors teachers preparing for the Cambridge Delta at ICTE.
