Damien McCoy

Damien has more than 20 years teaching and research experience in ESL and tertiary education. He has taught in Viet Nam, Cambodia and Australia. He has a PhD from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, a Masters in TESOL from the University of Canberra, as well as Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Damien has been a winner of the National Australian Vice-Chancellors Scholarship in addition to being a recipient of a Certificate of Academic Excellence from the University of Canberra. He has published in peer-reviewed academic journals, chapters in books and other academic forums, and has a research interest in the teaching of writing in English for Academic Purpose contexts.
