About the course

The English for Academic Communication: Master of Applied Linguistics course is for students who have English as an additional language undertaking postgraduate Applied Linguistics with a focus on SLAT7706.

The course will help students achieve success in their studies with a focus on:

  • critical reviews
  • reflective writing
  • paraphrasing, summarising and synthesising for essays
  • oral presentation skills.

Each class is delivered subject to sufficient enrolments.

Completing an EAC workshop series can contribute towards the UQ Employability Award. Teachers can offer advice on university assignments but will NOT edit your work.
